Designed for a beautiful residence on Claremont Street in Dunedin, this project features wall-to-wall carpets combining warmth, acoustic comfort, and understated elegance.

Working alongside talented Dunedin-based designer Talia Taylor, we created a custom loop-pile carpet that runs seamlessly through the entire home – including the staircase. The selected colour, Pure Jute, offers a calming, earthy warmth that enhances each room while creating a consistent and cohesive look throughout the interior.

With its subtle, organic tone and durable construction, the loop texture delivers both beauty and practicality. It adds a refined layer of visual interest underfoot without overpowering the rest of the design, making it a perfect foundation for a modern yet relaxed living environment.

A key part of this project’s success was the balance between comfort and design. CRONZ custom carpet not only softened the acoustics and feel of the spaces, but also acted as a unifying element across bedrooms, hallways, and the staircase. Its neutral palette provided the perfect backdrop for the client’s furnishings and artwork, while the loop-pile construction offered a tactile quality that feels grounded and enduring. This was a home designed to be lived in, practical yet elevated, and the flooring played a central role in achieving that vision.
